Installation of Royal Portrait at Bjimthangkha Township of PHPA-I & II

Wednesday, September 1, 2021: Coinciding with the auspicious 25th day of the 7th month of the Bhutanese calendar, the Managements of PHPA-I & II unveiled the Royal Portrait installed in the garden near the main gate of the office & residential complex of the two Projects. The Managements of both the Projects & senior officials of PHPA-I along with employees from Environment Circle were present to mark the occasion. After the unveiling of the Royal Portraits by the Managements, the Zhabten (Long life prayer for His Majesty The King) was also offered by the employees. The installation of the Royal Portrait was the initiative of the Environment Circle of PHPA-I who also donated the entire costs through their personal contributions besides instilling the sense of environmental cleanliness and preservation of the greenery.

The Royal Portrait was installed with an objective to instill inspiration among the employees of PHPA-I & II so as to complete & commission the two Projects with continued hard work, dedication and perseverance. The day was unusually bright with the sun encircled with a rainbow which brought further auspiciousness for the event and to those gathered to witness the unveiling of the Royal Portrait.
